Logo created for an arts organization that provides theater training and performance experience to home-schooled children in Chicago and Evanston.
The Thin Ice logo was designed to reflect the fun of the company's work via the visual gag of the "i" falling through the ice. The youth of the performers is reflected in the Sofia typeface: the round shapes and consistent line widths being reminiscent of letter magnets or alphabet charts. But the clean lines of the typeface also promise precision and professionalism.
